We are extremely sad to announce that we have decided to cancel the Passport to Taiwan 2020 Festival this year due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. This is the first time in 19 years that the festival will not take place. The situation evolves rapidly, and as of this morning, the New York State has declared a state of emergency.
The mission of Passport to Taiwan is to introduce New Yorkers to the most authentic Taiwanese experience. What made this festival successful is the community - volunteers, vendors, visitors - friends of Passport To Taiwan. Everyone’s safety is our top priority.
For our vendors and volunteers, we will be in touch as soon as possible. Passport to Taiwan will return in 2021. Stay tuned!

Special thanks to Councilman Peter Koo and Barry Grodenchik for appropriation of funds to the festival. Also thanks for Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) for administering the fund.
The festival provides opportunities for young New Yorkers to be involved in community affairs and develop leaderships and grow!
